Barefoot Kuata #Day14

The sun is out HORRRAYY. We were so excited we went straight to the beach after breaky. It was low tide and really shallow and clear so we could see small baby reef sharks and a stingray.

At 11am we went on a boat trip to see reef sharks. It was about 15/20minutes on the little boat out to a deep reef. The sharks were bigger then I was expecting after seeing the tiny ones in the shore but they are still only just over a meter in length. It was hard to get close to them because they were very deep so we did plenty of duck diving!
Such an amazing experience!

After lunch we got the opportunity to have a trail scuba dive. We did this because tomorrow we are diving with bull sharks! This is the only place in the world where uncertified divers can dive with sharks. We are so nervous but it's a once in a life time opportunity. Laura was worried about her ears and equalising so the dive instructor took us out for just under an hour to explain the equipment and how to use it. We all linked arms and went down to 5 meters. It was incredible! I can't go back to snorkelling now! It was such an amazing experience. Now we are all fine with the dive we have the go ahead for tomorrow.

As soon as we got out of the water we dived back in with our snorkel (not nearly as great now) for another hour.

Tonight is our last night at a small island as we travel back to Port, the mainland tomorrow.
