Savannah #Day30

Today we left the state of Florida behind for Savannah, Georgia. It was just a 3 hour drive from St Augustine, making it probably our shortest trip yet!
We arrived at 11:30am and had until 4 to wonder the pretty streets.
Group photo!

We had dinner by the river, I had a delicious crab cake salad.

My favourite English girl

Later that night we went to a Drag Queen show which was a hoot!

Today marks 1 month since we have been here and under 2 weeks until we fly home. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone.

St Augustine #Day29

My morning in Daytona Beach was spent Parasailing!! 10 of us left at about 8:30 and some of the crew spent the day at Kennedy Space Centre.
I woke up to the most beautiful sunrise!
We caught a shuttle bus 40 minutes out to the water. My friend Alysha and I were up first! It was an amazing experience! You sat on the end of the boat and slowly drifted backwards. We were so lucky with the weather which made for a beautiful view. We were probably in the air for about 5 minutes. We saw a stingray and a turtle and another two girls saw a swarm of sharks! This was creepy because at one point they lowered us down to put our feet in the water!

After parasailing we headed back to the hotel in Daytona Beach and had some lunch. We left Daytona Beach and headed back down South for just under 2hrs to pick up all the people who went to NASA. Once we picked them up at about 2:30pm we drove back up North to our next stop- St Augustine.
 Fort:

St Augustine is the oldest town in the US founded in 1565! Because it's so old everything is believed to be haunted so a group of us girls decided to go on a Ghost Tour.

We went to the old pharmacy and wax museum, a cementry and the old jail. All were super creepy and they had actors at each one that told different stories/jumped out at us and scared the living day light out of me!

Later that night we headed out for some food and drinks at the bar down the road.
