London, England #Day1

Landed 

Luggage in tow we left the airport. 2 train lines and a 10 minute walk later we arrived at our hotel to drop off our bags in storage. 

We jumped on the closet bus (red double decker!) which took us into the heart of livley London.

We started to wonder around the beautiful streets. Everywhere I looked there was something amazing to snap a photo of! It felt like a dream but maybe that was just because some serious jet lag was hitting me hardd

And of course the red telephone boxes~ 

We ventured round and found ourselves in Trafalgar Square~

We went into The National Gallery~

Here we set our eyes upon..

Monet's 'The Water Lily Pound' !!

and Van Gough's 'Chair' !!!

Kept walking towards the famous 

Big Ben~ 

London eye~ 

And more.. 

Now we are crashing in the hotel room exhausted, planning tomorrow's shenanigans! 

Best part of the day? 

Arriving of course! And seeing Big Ben

 

What I have learned? Jet lags a b&$#h annnd that The National Gallery exhibits paintings as old as 1400's! Amazing!
