New York #Day41

'Time flys when you're having fun' could not be more of an accurate statement right about now!
Today was our last full day in America as we leave tomorrow!

This morning we had breaky with Kyle and said bye!

We headed to the Metroplotian Museum in the Upper East Side which was awesome and also got to re-enact one of my fav shows, Gossip girl:

XOXO

Ellie's re-enactments in the museum:

The Upper East Side is verry nice.

We headed back Downtown to go present shopping and soak up our last sights of the busy city.

Back near our hotel we went to our favourite restaurant, Ollies for the 4th night in a row!

Tomorrow we catch our shuttle bus in the morning for our 2pm flight to LA and then LAX to Melbs.

New York #Day40

After a big night last night we slept maybe a lot today!
Ellie has also hurt her foot so she couldn't walk far the poor thing.
We headed Midtown and went a shopping!

New York is currently going through a heat wave and it was soooo hot on the subway!

We had dinner with Kyle again for his last night in America before going back to London! We went to our favourite Chinese restaurant, so delicious.

Its so hard to believe tomorrow is our last full day in America!

New York #Day39

Yesterday morning we went to this gorgeous place called NoMo Soho (in Soho) for breaky with some girls form our Contiki!

Afterwards I went and did a bit of shopping by myself checking out m&m world:

Then Ellie and I met up with another friend from our Contiki, Kyle!

We checked out the Chelsea food markets which were really groovy:

Then 'The Highline' which is an old railway converted into a beautiful garden walk on the roof:

Walks

We headed back over near Times Sqaure to try some famous NY cheesecake from 'Juniors cheesecake shop'. Was hands down the best cheesecake I've ever had! I had plain and Kyle tried carrot cheesecake!

We freshened up back at the hotel and had Chinese stir fry and dumplings for dinner with. Kyle couldn't come out cauz he is only 18 but we met up with who we called the 'Contiki left overs' (anyone still left in NY from our tour). We went to this amazinnnng Rooftop bar. It had a perfect view of the Empire State Building.

New York #Day38

Today we went to the 9/11 memorial site and National September 11 Memorial Musuem at the world trade centre.

These 2 pools mark where the towers stood.

The Memorial Museum was very emotional but incredible to see. It had ruins of the towers and was full of information about the tragic day.

It was so fascinating we spent over 2 hours in there.

After we headed to see the Charging Bull of Wall Street!

Then we went to Grand Central Central Terminal which was huge

We headed back to Times Square and then back to our hotel for an early night as we are going to Soho for breaky tomorrow
