Venice Beach #Day7

Today was spent soaking up some California sunshine!  

We walked from our hostle along Venice Beach Broadwalk up to Santa Monica Pier. Was a 7km walk there and back

    

The pier was packed full of people!

Our hostel is right on the beach so we went back, got our bathers and spent the rest of the afternoon sunbaking!

Tomorrow we are going to Hollywood! 

Disneyland #Day6

Disneyland- the happiest place on earth!  

We left Venice Beach at midday and caught a 1 hour uber ride to Disneyland! 

 

I couldn't have been more excited for today! We met up with 2 girls from home who are going to be on the same contiki as us. 

Disneyland was everything I hoped for and more! Unfortunately we didn't have enough time there as we hoped but we checked out 3 rides and 2 parades.

The Indiana jones ride was a highlight: 

 

We grabbed some dinner at a diner across the street and came back for the light show parade:

Unfortunately there were no fireworks due to dangerous winds :( but we still got to see a pretty neat light show:

 

All our childhood dreams came true! 

LA #Day5

Travel day today! 

We said goodbye to San Francisco and caught our flight to LAX. 

 

From the airport we caught an uber for 1/2 an hour to our hostel on Venice Beach! We had a few hours left to walk along the beach before dark: 

 

All the palm trees! 

   

Tomorrow we are going to Disneyland!!!!!!!! 

San Francisco #Day4

Our last full day in this hilly city! Today we soaked up the last of San Fran, doing lots of walking and lounging in the sunshine.  
 

We walked pasted Mrs Doubtfires House from Robin Williams famous movie:

 

We headed over to Alamo square to see the Painted Ladies: 

 

 

Afterwards we caught an uber back down to Fishermans Wharf were our lovely uber driver suggested we check out 'Ghirardelli' and old chocolate factory!

I bought a hoodie and cap saying 'San Francisco' don't think I could look more like a tourist if I tried! 

 

Tomorrow we will be flying back to LAX to stay at Venice Beach :)
