Venice, Italy #Day64

This place is amazing.

Our hotel~down a cute alley way just off a Main Street~ 

We started off our day by doing a free walking tour! Our guide was fantastic telling us so much history and answering every question thrown his way across 3 hours. The free tours really are the best way to get a great feel for a city~ 

Endless canals and alley ways to explore~it's incredibly easy to get lost!

We met some great Melbournians on the tour~Matt and Maddy~who we later met up again for dinner! :) 

Venice, Italy #Day63

Ciao! 

Italy here we come! 

We left Salzburg in the morning, catching a train to Innsbruck, Austria~ 

a quick half an hour stop over before catching our next train straight to Venice! 

5 hours later...we arrived!! 

Our hotel was only 300m away from the main station which was so great! 

We dumped our luggage and started to look around at a few shops before everything closed at 8pm~

First slice of Italian pizza! Yummo~ 

Now for an early night to get ready for a jammed pack day of exploring tomorrow :)

You can see all the cables hanging as all the buses are electrical!~

Then we walked about 5km down the road to Hellbrunn Palace~

As well as the Palace there was a museum, zoo & an array of ponds and parks~ 

Tomorrow we are off to...
