Soaking up the last of Ghent~

The array of bikes everywhere~quickest way to get around because Ghents old town is car free! 

In love with these buildings~different styles at every turn~ 

At night~ beautiful reflections along the water~ 

Tomorrow we are off to..

Brussels! The capital city of Belgium!

Goodbye Bruge, Ellloo Ghent!! 

We explored Ghent on foot today, going into a couple of old buildings and roaming the streets~

It's much bigger then Bruge but a lot less touristy!

Some Aussie ice-cream anyone?~

Inside the largest cathedral~a lady was playing the organ~ 

We went into Gravensteen Castle~

Creepiest stairs~going down to the dungeons~

Best part was the view from the top!~ 

Had a room full of all the different torture instruments~arhhhlerrrl scary!!

Tomorrow we are off to..

Second day in Ghent! 

Bruges, Belgium #Day28

Second day in Bruge~exploring all the shops and getting completely lost! Best way to see a town I reckon~ 

Christmas shops already!~

Then we went on a 30 minute boat tour around the canals which was really awesome~the guide told us all about the history of Bruge and pointed out the main sights~ 

Under the bridges~

Enjoying some Belgium chocolate~yummo!! 

Then we walked to the edge of the old city to see the windmills~ 

Main square at night~
